The Speedo & Revcounter should be in front of the driver, and visible through the steering wheel. Simple as that.
With supplementaries in a row in the centre, including oil pressure and voltmeter - in the name of tradition.
I agree Dave, but I would go further and say that the dash top in front front of the driver needs to be redesigned to go up in a slight hump, or even a double hump such as the new Aero 8.
This style I would like!!!
Fully agree Peter & Dave. The one great frustration with Henrietta is that i have to remember what revs correspond to 30/40/50/60/70 mph in 3rd, 4th & 5th as i cannot see the speedo needle easily during the hours of darkness (and I do a lot of my driving then).
I simply cannot see why the speedo is not in front of the driver and rev counter off to one side - ok for a proper racer like the Baby Doll, but not for an "everyday" car like the 4/4?
And i LOVE that Aero 8 dash.
Have a word with Steve, chaps, when you visit en-masse.
Cheers
