I seem to remember that 60's road tests of the +8 when it was new, were less than complimentary about it's brakes/handling/steering etc, and cars were pretty basic back then.
Add nearly 50 years of motor car development to any modern testers opinion and and it will just get totally slated.
Morgans are what they are, an odd ball throwback to days gone by. They're a manufacturer who should have gone the way of all other British car manufacturers, but they didn't. Not because of their cutting edge technology and state of the art manufacturing…… in spite of it!!!!!
They're bought by nostalgia freaks and dreamers; middle aged, middle England, middle class.
I hope the rash of new owners buying the AR+4 aren't too disappointed with leaks, rattles and build faults.
It will never be a Boxster/MX5/ Elise.
