My navigator has just told me he will not be available for a planned run tomorrow, so I have no-one to read my tulip diagram. It occurs to me that there ought to be a device containing a couple of cylinders set a small distance apart whereby a set of route instructions can would round the bottom cylinder, affixed to the top cylinder, and the paper containing the route advanced by turning the top cylinder. The whole thing to be attached somewhere within easy view of the driver. Don’t rally co-drivers have something like this?

So, before I go trying to make one, does anyone know if such a device exists? Failing that, it'll be setting coordinate-based waypoints on the satnav - which is a bit of a fag.
