I went for a test drive in light rain. I find the above 40 mph the rain seems to hit the centre of the screen & spread out horizontally. I can still just see over or round so I think heavy rain would still be drivable. Moving my outer hand on the wheel up a bit should give more protection. As it could be described as a modification I spoke to my insurance broker & they thought it would be fine.

Mine was fitted last week. Seems like you can lean left (for a RH drive car) to see through it, or lean R to see over it. Buffeting seemed much reduced on the odd dual carriageway stretch. Noticed my R hand was quite close to the screen when driving 10-to-2 on the steering wheel.

Possibly the only caveat to an unreserved recommendation is the appearance of an official Morgan windscreen option. But that one seems to have tinted edges in the photo I saw. So perhaps the Fairbourne will remain the classic choice!
