The TTIP seems to me to be a very dangerous, illiberal and undesirable step, and one which I am deeply concerned about, but I don't see it as being an EU-driven thing - if the UK were to leave the EU, there would be no certainty that the TTIP would be abrogated.
As you say, it's supported by the Conservatives and given Labour's current disarray, I see no realistic alternative government in the UK for the foreseeable future.
