I'll try to remember to let you know how the part works out and the hopefully improved shift pattern with no slop. I guess I should try to find a Cortina handbook for future reference. Now you have me concerned but I have to rely on Bean Engineering. They were quite confident that I had a single rod selector and your comments seem to verify that. Time will tell.
