I got nabbed last October near Donington Park after the Morgan Challenge race...
One of the Revolutions mechanic's had collapsed in the scrutineering bay and been rushed to hospital, where he later died, so I wasn't really all that with it driving back.
Anyway I took the Speed Awareness course, and I actually enjoyed it, there was some good banter and camaraderie in the room. Having come away with my slapped wrist, I decided to try and put some of the techniques talked about into practice.
The MPG on the "daddy-wagon" (yes- I drive a people carrier, because it appears to be the only way to transport a 3 year old dictator around

) has risen from early 40's to consistently early 50's driving with some of the techniques taught.
Just goes to show....
