So its less that 200 miles since changing the oil. Alarmingly the filler plug was finger tight, so glad I checked it. Oddly I used the same method by filling to the breather hole. The panel work come out a doddle one you have done it before, it took about 20 mins, and you can have a good clean in there while its all open. I forgot to look if the prop shaft has a grease nipple?
So the oil is very mucky once again, no where near what came out first time, but still woudn't have expected that to happen to the liquid nectar that went in, I flushed it through too.
The reason I wanted to change is to see if slightly thicker oil will help soften my already weary BB. So I am now running EP85W-140 GL-5 from Comma. (British made).
Its certainly better than it was. I should try and record it somehow.
