The sneaky Morgan people hide the battery under the rear seat, which side depends upon the exhaust position, so if like mine the exhaust is on the left of the car the battery is on the right, generally the battery is of average size and it sits on a bit of floorboard between the spring and the diff held down by a couple of rods and nuts.
A 2008 should not need the battery looking at for a few years but fitting a battery condition meter is a good idea, best to use the car at least weekly and keep it in a nice dry garage.
