If you take the carpet right out of the area behind the seats (4 Poppers two at the very back and two near the floor behind the seats - move the seats forward.
You will find the tool rack on the top surface.
In the upright part behind the seats you will find an access hole covered with an aluminum plate. (difficult to access but should not need attention to unless it has been completely discharged)
The battery is behind there. It is normal size and originals seem to be RED in colour (lay a mirror under the back axle and you should see the bottom of the battery)
Invest in a Ctek (
www.ctek.com) battery conditioner (Dealer or internet) about £35 and plug into the cigarette lighter port. Leave plugged in if low use / low mileage user. Can be left in for months as it is self monitoring and controlling.
