Ha - what summer?

I was away for a week and missed it. it's more like mid-autumn here today umbrella

I've only done about 400 miles or so and the bevel box is quieter but not quiet.

It's still noisiest around 55-65 but more a soft spoken voice than a shriek - if that makes sense?

However, the drive belt was also tightened at the service so that could also be having an effect so overall nothing conclusive.

It would be interesting if others try a switch to EP140 as well to see if there is a trend.

We're just back from a 600 mile drive around the Italian lakes and the first thing my wife said to me when we stopped at home was: "This f*cking bevelbox makes me crazy"

So she was clear enough I think.
( Dear Mr Evens when we get a solution ? )

Due to the fact the bevelbox in her car is still leaking slightly I will change the oil from Red Line shock proof to Millers 140 (if I can get it in Switzerland)
Hope that the leaking will stop and that the noise will be much less (for the last it will be wishful thinking I'm afraid)

For the rest we had a nice and problem-free trip. Some days hot (32 degree) and this afternoon pouring rain and 5 degree on the Grimsel pass.
