The right price is (unfortunately): 1. the one you are willing to pay 2. the average price of the ones that are on sale
both true, and in a market where the 'commodity' is in restricted supply, the 'right' price also has to be a little more than other buyers are willing to pay, otherwise they'll buy it, not you.
