I always jack it up and grease on tour without removing the wheels. I check everything's tight at the same time. Takes about 20 minutes. I generally do it in a hotel car park or garage so I put a long length of toilet paper in a sanitary towel disposal bag, then having completed the operation, wipe off any excess grease with the toilet paper which then goes into the bag together with the disposable gloves I wear before being chucked away.
