Does anyone know if the Stage 1 AR Motorsport Upgrade Kit is ordered when purchasing the M3W (hence, factory-fitted), are the baffles removed or does the kit have no influence on the exhaust at all?
I have got the Mog stage 1 kit fitted and I think there are only few restrictions inside the pipes. Far better breathing and fun to drive. Some additional noise too...
As far as I know: it is a completely different exhaust than standard.
The MMC stage 1 is different to the standard exhaust and uses internal turbulance to reduce the noise. The silencer section is larger diameter than the standard exhaust (but not as large as the Garage 56 absorbtion type).
It has a major influence on the breathing and responsiveness of the motor - no pinking, revs straight up to the ignition cut off, pulls better and is faster
