But, as I said, modern exhaust components have virtually eliminated this, back end pressure is negligible in higher performance exhaust components.
Which is EXACLY what the M3W exhaust isn't - the stock exhausts are so horrifically restrictive that they can risk damaging the engine if you constantly bang into the pinking/pre-ignition.
Knock the baffles out of the stock exhaust by all means, but it will be horribly loud in my view (the baffles are all that's in there to keep the racket under control), but it will improve performance, as the restriction is progressively removed. Nasty solution in my view however, but each to their own of course
