Have to admit I and
prefer a good inn with real ale, decent wine and food.
However, I can see the attraction of throwing a few things in a camper and heading for the hills / lakes / decent scenery.
If you are contemplating converting a van yourself and re-registering it as a camper be aware that DVLA will now ask for proof that it looks like a camper (i.e. photos) - allegedly to assist the forces of law and order...
