I used to have a spinner "spanner" from the MG club. Worked really well but the long handle was close to the wing/wheelerch edge.
I sold it through TM when moving to the plus8 with 5 nut alloys.
As for 4 point axle stand support....no problem if your trolley jack rolls properly and the stands are in the right places.
Most kitcar builders use 4 axle stands to build. Some use tressle stands as an alternative.
You could always raise the car in stages. Front/back a bit at a time alternately. That will reduce the large movements. A bit tedious going back and fore but no big deal.
How high? Depends on whether you intend getting under the car to do work etc.
