Whilst the Cosworth engine in my ARP4 is suitably tractable it is not torquey, nor does it feel like 220bhp, which is a little disappointing, and I am looking at ways to remedy this. 'Softer' cams are one way to go, and sacrifice some top end power for mid range torque, or maybe put in a whole new engine, and the 3.7 Roadster unit would be the natural choice as it is a proven fit in the chassis, but does anyone have any suggestions where I might buy an engine and gearbox for a reasonable amount of money, which might rule out MMC, though of course, I would have the conversation with them if I decide it might be a way forward?
