Thanks to you all for your considered comments, all will be investigated, SimonH, very useful reminders of what is required and Heinz, Rid967 and Dave you make an excellent point about residual values, but I quite like the whole ARP4 thing, except the power unit, hence my original and probably less expensive thought about just substituting softer cams to give lower power but more torque, the only problem there is that the engine will need remapping and as the ECU is locked, it will mean a new ECU, just to add to the expense, although I am awaiting a reply from Mark Evans at Aero Racing about that one.
