There is a lot to be said for a boring reliable econonbox.
Nor need they be boring either, the Focus and Fiesta ST, Golf R or Clubsport or Civic type R plus a few others, are hugely entertaining but still reliable, and as a bonus they are all real Q cars too, blending into the general road scene.
