Years ago I did investigate the purchase of an ex-London cab.
wasn't impressed until I said how comfortable they can be on long journeys (OK slow top speed, but comfortable with plenty of room to stretch out), but she said she wouldn't be able to sit in the front - exactly, I get to drive in peace... Popular that one!
