Chap who bought my S1 (bright yellow) was very much in my mould and bought on condition. He'd seen an S3 that had much lower mileage than the 67k km on mine, yet the interior was quite tatty and bodywork showed some corrosion.
It's all down to condition and if I sold mine for top money it's because it was in MHO a well cared for and loved car.
