The BT thingy is called BT Call Protect, and I have just joined.
Only two numbers barred so far, but there is scope to bar all of those pesky callers (with resolved real numbers).
I have one particularly tenacious caller from Coventry, but that may be a ruse (an international caller with a UK-based number).
On the 'you have a problem with your PC' scam, I once had a caller telling me there was a problem with my Windows PC.
