Where we live in the Norfolk Broads is brilliant for driving as there are no roads of any consequence hence nobody drives through Norfolk to get anywhere else.
Obviously the sailing is a big draw in the summer months and we also have a long but cold coast with nice little villages plus a number of good stately homes to visit.
The down side is of course the summer visitors who, despite bringing much needed money into the area, often bring big city/town driving manners with them.
To top it all, E Anglia is possibly the driest part of the UK where we can stand looking up at the big skies watching the empties going back to Manchester. oldgit
