Although I live within 10 miles of Stansted airport, my own little hamlet is relatively quiet and I have plenty of open farmland just beyond my door. The scenery here is not at all spectacular, but is homely enough. I am lucky to be within easy reach of Hatfield Forest, where I help out 2 or 3 days a week.
