Jays, a year or so ago, my wife and I and a bunch of fellmoggers visited a restaurant in Grange to celebrate Mrs Scratched's birthday. After the meal we repaired to the nearest pub. Whilst enjoying a drink or two the pub was engulfed by police in armoured uniform complete with sniffer dogs searching the premises and customers for drugs.
You expect drugs raids in downtown L.A. but not downtown G!
