Dad loved his 1973 Ford Consul (JOK89L - must be long gone) and the 1964 Wolseley 16/60 (292 KUO - went to a scrapper in Sussex having failed on its last journey to see my grand-father - the Consul was due for delivery 2 weeks later).
He hated the early Mini Van they had on the farm (he said the gearbox would change itself by the time they got rid of it - 6 gearboxes under warranty).
He also quite liked the Series 1 Land-Rover they had on the farm (76 KDV - sadly not around any more) which was the first road vehicle I drove.
