They all have mechanical stops , click , click as you lift up its locking into the next locking mechanism .If it doesn't say so on the spec don't buy it !
Not correct, as the car is raised you indeed hear a click as the safety stop is pushed back and the springs back. By that time the lift has risen a bit.
