when under my Morgan in the inspection pit in my shed, I have noticed that the Morgan springs are almost FLAT.
The clearance between the underside of the spring and the chassis is very little?
How can a company design a vehicle like that and sell it to the unsuspecting public?
If any extra weight is applied to the spring it goes into concave deflection and handling and suspension travel become dangerous and none existent.
Has anyone raised the two ends of the springs to gain correct curvature of a standard spring?
if this was done ,then perhaps some resemblance of normal travel would become apparent and then standard telescopic shockers would be of some use and we would regain suspension control in the rear (the car).
