Definitely, I've been self-employed for 12 years now, and wouldn't willingly go back to working for someone else.
I've been self employed for practically all of my working life, and us such am probably unemployable.
We're trying to get our business to almost run itself, with only the occasional nudge on the tiller from us. If we can make that work, why would we retire ?
