A9 Dornoch to Inverness
B9006 through the Culloden Battlefield to Croy
B9091 and B9090 through Cawdor (Good Castle)
Then either use the B9101 to join the A939 and head soth via Dava to Grantown on Spey and from there to Tomintoul OR if you have time head further East from Nairn on the A96 to Forres and take the B9010 south towards Dallas but take the minor road through Branchill to Cardhu then the B9102 and cut through to Carron and out to the A95 you can then either go over the hill via Edinvillie to Glen Rinnes and then Glenlivet or take the A95 to Ballindalloch (another great castle) then to Glenlivet. From Glenlivet via Tomnavoulin to Tomintoul. From Tomintoul A939 over the Lecht to Corgarf and follow towards Ballater and Braemar. Go right at Gairnsheil Lodge on the B976 to Crathie and then Braemar on the A93. Follow the A93 over tne Cairnwell to Glenshee. Keep on the A93 then take the B950 to Kirkmichael and then the A924 to Pitlochry. You will then have driven some of the best roads in the Northeast of Scotland Enjoy
