My Scottish tour starts shortly, in my 4/4 sport
I have been considering what to put in the toolbox.

So far it's as follows
Spare tyre (carried in my pal's car)
Wheel nut spanner and hammer
Red triangle and yellow jacket
Bottle of squirt
Some p-section draught excluder for stuffing into the gap above the windscreen when it rains on the motorway
2 no self inflating cushions for wedging beside the door catches as a draft/wet excluder
One of those useless multi-tools you can wear in a pouch on your belt
2 dishcloths for stuffing in the roof webbing to stop it snapping against the roof on the motorway
Sun barrier factor 30
Industrial earplugs

Any further suggestions? I suppose I'll need my grease gun as I'm going more than 200 miles
