Just back from doing most of the NC500 with Crunchie in his Plus 8, including driving up from Berkshire (and back too!) we did just under 2,500 miles in 9-days! No golf or fishing, just great driving on some mainly good roads, brilliant scenery (as the guys say Applecross is a must), the only downside are the many stone chips on our cars! Some roads have many surface pebbles and stones on them!
Oh and I do need a new windscreen too but at least that is covered on the insurance, despite this I would recommend you plan a trip there soon ...
