These are replacement tubes on the end. Remember (see above) I started with two 48" stainless steel high polished tubes. I cut 25" off and had them bent for the front. That left 23" for the rear pipe and it goes into the Magnaflow a couple inches. I really like the shorter & square cut (sportier) look now. You could cut these at an angle or add an aftermarket tip too, there are some nice options out there.
Another thing I was really considering was to come out of the muffler and have it bent to follow the M3W body line. It would be a longer tube and have the original angle cut on the end.I feel this option would really look sharp on the high end M3W out there! I have already told Grockle about my idea and Morgan should really consider this as an option!!!
You mentioned above that you liked " the stock sound better" and the reason I wanted to make this change wasn't really about the sound. It was my concern of the engine heat and better breathing for improved performance. I had my friend Doug who is our lead mechanic here at High Noon Speed Shop look into the end of the factory pipe yesterday and he said Wow.... that can't be good! If you ever look into one you will make the change! I'm not criticizing Morngan with this as they are under the gun trying to comply with all the insane regulations around the world.
I do like the low tone Magnaflows ........ these little hot rods deserve it!
