Good thought - doing it up with masking tape to try out the look!
Personally, I'm not a fan of outlining the body cut lines - just breaks-up the flow of the body to my eyes. I could see a pin-stripe(s) down the body side, matched with a center stripe, perhaps a wider center stripe with pin-stripes on each side matching the pin-stripe on the side of the body. You could also play around with a narrow pin-stripe on the fenders, but that wouldn't look very integrated I suspect.
