Well, I made time today and the weather wasn't quite as bad as forecast so the fasteners are all fitted.
As mentioned above, access to the front was easy.

Obviously, there were two holes in the cowl for the erstwhile Druz fastenings. These are slightly smaller than the diameter of the rivets along the bottom edge, so I turned up a couple of Tufnol plugs to mimic them. Seems appropriate to use an old fashioned material like Tufnol on a Morgan.

These were painted with touch up paint, even managing to duplicate the runs present on the real ones!

The plugs were pushed into place and locked into place by a bead of gel superglue on the inner side.

I am very pleased with the latches, but will retain the two Druz fasteners to locate the cowl positively.
