Burgundymog, Think more likely that it was only being used once a month over the winter & that just a run to charge the battery.
I suspect rust on the discs caused the excessive wear.
She also had rusted seized rear pistons and the inner front calliper pistons were also seized.
Unfortunately she is stored in a rented garage, which has no elec so winter time is dry but methinks the atmosphere is a bit damp. She passed her MOT in October, hence my surprise.
