I am more impressed that they were comfortable wearing skirts. When I was in school we would never have had the front to wear girls clothing due to the attitudes of the time.
You would never have lived it down and the name calling afterwards would have been horrible. At least modern times are more open minded and it would appear crafty. Good for them.
