In fairness, i have found the dealer being alluded to be very good, both himself and his staff being most helpful. (Much better than the dealer i bought my car from).
As others have said, a personal phone call to the man himself (provided he is there of course) may well have been the way forward, i cannot imagine him personally fobbing off or ignoring a 90k customer on the phone or in person, he does not ignore me and i only spend peanuts with him.
Just my honest experience…..
