How about a removable steering wheel?
I have one but so far not needed to remove it. It does make things much easier, I have taken it off to do jobs and getting in/out is easier.
The toughest car I have had to deal with was an Exige. The sill is so wide....
Got in ok and it felt awesome. Getting out......bit the bullet, crawled out. It was a trackday at Silverstone and caused some smiles from onlookers!
