When I first joined my ex employer (Suzuki GB) in 1990, it was a wonderfully non PC company.
As the head of our racing team said "this is where men race bikes and women hold umbrellas"
I saw the company change over the years: Personnel became HR; Talking with colleagues to sort problems, increasingly became email exchanges; and generally the whole place became more serious and the people more earnest.
Glad I experienced the fun times and most glad that I am now retired.
