No impact damage at all and its a manual
Hmm..so it may be a manual box only brace.
This is a rather poor photo of the Autobox sump and behind it the brace that sits at the back of the box.
It seems that the Autobox brace is a different part, with a "D" section to clear the tail of the box.
But given the nature of the crack on your car and the similarity of the brace fitting I feel the need to take a closer look!
