Every time I see the thread title and the spelling of tyres, I come across all Colonel Blimp and very British, Peter. But since I know you arent a septic, I guess it one of these irritating spell checker apps that has done the evil deed.
Yes, the spell checker accepts tires and tyres and my dyslexia means i simply don't notice... so consider me to be, linguistically, to be floating somewhere over the Atlantic!
