I have owned two Lexus IS300h in the last 4.5 years and have never noticed anything abnormal. Both have been fitted with winter tyres from the end of October to the end of March and in conjunction with the "snow" programme (which I am guessing tames the torque delivery from the electric motor as well as making the throttle pedal action very slow) the snow traction and braking has been very good.
Probably the weight of the hybrid battery under the boot also helps.
