I had the engine oiler system removed by Williams and had fitted remote greasing arrangements in the form of two sets of greasing nipples fitted to the inside of the mudguards in the engine compartment for each of the upper and lower greasing points. I routinely grease the every 1000 miles or so. The fitting of these nipples removes the need to "get out and get under"- its such a breeze now. I could never figure out why you would use engine oil to "gease" as the oil would tend to wash the grease out.
I have had no problems.
