You have to be 'in it to win it' as they say. Get out there and find out. No one likes to get their Mog wet but in 2009 every journey we made was a really wet one for the major part of it.
Put the hood up if it rains.
Leaks around the front side screens / hood corner were the worse. So have some tissue or spongy fabric handy. The wipers were fine for me. Just drive within the limits of visibility.
