I too drove through some of the worst rain ever in Belgium back in July. Horrendous visibility but that was not a Morgan Wiper effect. Can't say the car was watertight but it was not too challenging. Just make sure you have something to mop up with. Problem I find in rain with the top down is that the wipers clear the outside of the windscreen but a fine mist builds up on the inside.
