Fair point Steve, Rainex does bind the rain droplets giving them potentially more volume to trouble the driver. To mitigate against this potential disadvantage I have a simple remedy. I wait for them to build up on the screen then flick a quick right on the steering under throttle, this fires the excess water at speed into the face of my unsuspecting passanger. I on the other hand arrive at the journeys end dry and refreshed.
