Dear fellow Morganneers,

a good friend of mine told me yesterday, that it is perfectly o.k. to vent your anger
and indulge in some ranting on a forum but he also said that I should not forget to post a couple of words if I had been reconciled.

Right he is!

So, here's the 2nd part of my story: Since I was a little disappointed about my Morgan dealer's warranty policy and in addition being scared to go on the Autobahn for two and a half hours, I took my car to Morgan/Mini Schmitt-BCS only a couple of miles from where I live.
It is a father and son venture dating back to 1973 and I guess one could say: they have seen it all.
We agreed to go a little further than just changing the radiator to a Sifab model;
they also threw out the plastic airfilter behind the radiator, which was blocking the airflow and installed a K&N sportfilter further back in the engine compartment.
The radiator and the connecting hoses also got new mountings to safely isolate them from suspension-induced internal movements.
But these were only the main issues.
When I picked up the car yesterday, I had a hard time to recognise my old engine compartment. What a wonderful job! Nothing is done without a certain reason behind it and everything looks absolutely immaculate.

Not to mention the new sound.
I did not really think that there would be a change and therefore was in for a big surprise:
The car sounds much more throaty now and it is a delight to listen to it revving up!

I am not exaggerating when I say: I fell in love with this machine for the second time.
