I understand these sentiments but there are many cases where 30mph seems too low, for example when there are two junctions half a mile apart along a country road. Most people would let their speed drift up and slow again at the next hazard. But plod has slapped a 30 limit along the whole stretch.. in this circumstance I would feel pretty hard done by if someone didn't warn me that there was a cash collection going on.
